Racing down a powder-covered mountaintop to the beat of some sweet tunes might be one of the most badass feelings ever.
What isn’t badass is the moments after the chairlift, or stuck on the side of the mountain, when you’re trying to juggle between poles, gloves, press “Play” or “Next” on your iPhone before it shuts off from the low temperature, and protecting yourself from frostbite while friends tell you to hurry up. Along with feeling like your fingers don’t exist anymore, you’re getting anxiety wondering at what point your phone is going to fall out because your stumpy mitten hand couldn’t zip up your ski jacket all the way.
