Architectural Wonders of LA: Philip Dixon House

If you're in the market for a $13 million private oasis in the middle of the bustling Abbot Kinney area of Venice Beach, you're in luck. Built at the whims of fashion photographer Philip Dixon, this house was inspired by his fond travel memories during his photoshoots around the world - and may as well be a portal to Morocco. The primitive-looking clay floors and cabinets, indoor-outdoor bedrooms, and Moroccan antique decor throughout the house will have you feeling like you've time traveled and landed in the middle of a giant ancient artifact. Just look at the pictures and imagine using wifi here. Weird, right?
